White Certificates are still a key element for energy efficiency.
They will be even more so in the coming years, with the new White Certificates Decree the Ministerial Decree of 21 May 2021, the new ‘release’ is structured to re-launch a tool that has ensured substantial energy savings and environmental benefits.
Considering that one certificate is equivalent to the saving of one tonne of oil equivalent, between January and May 2021, 462,129 TEEs were recognised, thus → 462 thousand tonnes of oil.
We are talking about an essential mechanism in the path towards carbon neutrality in 2050.
