The sustainability report is a transparent reporting and communication document, which must gather data on company performance on environmental, social and governance (ESG, Environmental, Social and Governance) impacts and tell the story, both inside and outside the company.

As of 2024, the preparation of a sustainability report will become mandatory for all companies that meet certain parameters: companies with more than 250 employees, a turnover of more than EUR 50 million and an annual balance sheet of at least EUR 43 million.

Sustainability should not be understood as a watertight compartment, but as a value interconnected with the productivity, efficiency and profitability of a company. Environmental sustainability means decreasing energy consumption, reducing production waste, limiting waste, thinking in terms of a circular economy, not a linear one.
