The intervention in Forgital FMDL, a forging plant located in the heart of France a few kilometres from Saint-Etienne, is an example of how it can be synergistically designed and installed on site without upsetting company processes and “best practices”.
The requalification carried out by Quantum has involved various departments and strategic sectors of the company: from cutting to forging and rolling, from heat treatment to logistics, from non-destructive testing to the maintenance workshop, without neglecting external lighting and offices.
Each area marked by precise operational requirements, stringent lighting targets, the need for safety in the workplace and uniform light quality, required scrupulous support and scouting of LED solutions consistent with the performance objectives set jointly with the customer and compatible with the context in which they were to operate.
A demanding and complex job in which the results were certainly not long overdue in terms of energy saving and efficiency, but above all they placed the staff employed inside the structure in the best possible lighting conditions.
